What is the best program to use for creating svcd's and vcd's?

I'm batteling with nero 7 to confert dvd's to svcd or vcd.What am I doing wrong?Help please..........What other program works better for this stuff ??What is the best program to use for creating svcd's and vcd's?
Nero should do it just fine, though it only works on CD-Rs. A CD-RW is not capable of being a VCD - so there is a chance that is your issue.





However, other programs that do this well I believe are like Sonic RecordNow and possibly Roxio Premier software. Though I'm not sure. I have the software but it's not installed as I am using Nero and don't need it yet. It's been a while since I've used it and I can't remember if this functionality is available therein or not.





Blaze Media Pro should do this quite easily, as well.

Nero 7 includes burning AND conversion utilities. Plus, the burning function you choose (such as SVCD) automatically re-encodes the file before the burn process.What is the best program to use for creating svcd's and vcd's?
I wish someone would have told me about that CD-RW not having video capabilities earlier. ALL DAY Ive been trying to make one into a video. Report Abuse

ok, u r using a burning software now, u have 2 use a software that will convert files. such as DVD Santa or any other avi to MPEG (DVD) converter.
