Though it does seem really cool, you can walk around town on it, and from neighbour to neighbour without loading screens. And you can customize your stuff by having more colour options... Sorry if I sound like I work for Maxis, I don't I'm just a HUGE Sims fan :] Check the new site out, it looks good!

the sims 3. whats on it?? when is it coming out, i havnt heard anything about it. How can they do another one. I can see why they did the sims 2 because it was substantially more advanced than the sims 1 but not sure what they could do with the sims 3.
As long as it improves the gameplay and the overall features of the game, no... its when the same tired old engines are trotted out year after year with little more than statistical upgrades (Certain Sport titles spring to mind).
Its the best selling pc game of all time so they are going to keep bringing out new versions until its stops being popular.
