i want to create somthing like MASSIVE, as used in LOTR and other movies, or just make movies with computer agents in it. is flash right for me? what can it do?What can i do with Flash related to creating 3-d figures?
There is a flash plug in called swiff 3D that allows the creation and editing of 3D objects and use them within Flash. However, if you want a better looking, more professional result, I can recommend the following (sorted from most expensive to less expensive)
Maya
3D Studio MAX
Lightwave
Cinema 4D
Poser (for people only)
Bryce (great for landscapes)
Dark BASIC (Good for creating 3D games)

But, I have seen some good 3D Flash games but for movie quality, you will be happier with the list of software above.
