Creating a tunnel into earth and jumping inside. What happens?

What happens if I create a long hole on the surface of earth all the way through the center of earth and into the other surface. If I jump inside (ignore the intense heat, pressure etc) what will happen? Will I emerge at the other side of the surface?Creating a tunnel into earth and jumping inside. What happens?
Besides the intense heat and pressure, gravity would be the major force acting on you (say if we lived in a world with no air resistance.) As you would get closer to the center of the earth you speed would be increasing, but once you start pulling away from the center you speed would be slowing down due to gravity pulling on you from the opposite direction. At the opposite side of the earth you find yourself to come to a standstill for a brief second until you get pulled back inward toward the center and emerge on the same side of the earth in which you started. You would be stuck in this cycle going from either side of the earth until someone threw you a rope and are able to pull yourself to the surface.Creating a tunnel into earth and jumping inside. You will accelerate to about 120 mph (this is 'terminal velocity' for a skydiver.) The human body simply isn't streamlined enough (I don't care what your bf says) to go faster. You'll fall toward the center of the earth, go past it, then start to fall 'up' because you still have some momentum left.

But you dont have enough momentum to fall all the way back up to the surface again, due to the air resistance! Eventually, you'll fall back to the center again. This cycle will repeat until air resistance has eliminated all your potential energy. Then you will just float there in the center of the hole and wonder why you were so foolish as to jump in. Take my advice, please, don't jump.
The chinese will take you into custody and consider you an illegal alien, put you in jail and will never give you a green card no matter who cries about it.
You'd fall ';down'; through Earth's center, slow down then fall back through the center, slow down then fall back through the center again, slow down and so on. With each pass through the center, your velocity would decrease slightly until eventually you'd end up pretty much stationary in the center.
You'd fall until you got to the center, at which point you'd fall ';up'; (although it technically wouldn't be up anymore) back to the center. You'd hover at the center.
It would be interesting if you ended up opening the hole to the ocean bottom.
htere is hot lava just inside u u gonna die after a voyage of 20 km
Heck no
Probably you would fall past the center of the earth and approach the surface on the opposite side without reaching it. Then, gravity would pull you back toward the center and you would approach your starting point without coming as close to the surface as you did on the opposite side of the earth. Then, you achieve a delaying oscillation centered around the middle of the earth until you finally stop at the exact center. (Of course, this is purely hypothetical)
You will have a volcano in your front yard!
You wont get pass the gravitational pull in the center of the earth,if you do u will have to crawl out the other side not drop cause gravity will be pulling you towards the center of the earth
